Hello, I’m Steven.

Today, I’d like to share a little bit about my passion and philosophy behind hair design.

My journey began with my own childhood experiences at hair salons. Back then, I rarely left the salon feeling satisfied with my haircut. I still remember the disappointment I felt when looking in the mirror — even after showing the hairstylist a photo of my “dream hairstyle” I found online, the result often turned out completely different.

After many such experiences, I started thinking, “What if I became a hairstylist who could truly make people smile?”

That thought has guided me ever since.

What I value most in my work are creating designs that bring out each person’s individuality and providing techniques that clients can fully trust.

A small change in hairstyle can brighten your mood and boost your confidence. That’s why I always take time to carefully design each cut, considering every client’s hair texture, face shape, and lifestyle.

The frustration I felt as a child when my hair didn’t turn out as I hoped — and the pure joy of finally finding a style that suited me — those emotions are still at the heart of who I am as a hairstylist.

Seeing a client smile the moment they look in the mirror — that’s the most rewarding moment for me.

In Hong Kong, people often say that getting a haircut is like taking a gamble — you never quite know how it will turn out. I understand that uncertainty, but I want my clients to feel differently.

I want them to think,“I feel safe here”and“I’m glad I trusted him.”

When a client leaves the salon with a bright smile and a lighter step, that’s what makes everything worthwhile.

That’s the reason I continue doing what I love every day. 💇‍♂️✨
