If you want to have beautiful hair, eat hijiki, nori, and wakame that are one of seaweed.
I often heard this from my grandmother.
As you see from Japanese dolls, it seems that for women, the beauty of hair was as important as life itself.
Even today, the market is overflowing with many hair care products, so much so that it's hard to know which one to choose, which means that the desire to keep hair beautiful is still common to many people.
Every year, better hair care products are being developed,
But today, I write about what I've found out about eating seaweed, which is said to be effective in keeping hair beautiful. It's what you might call care from the inside of the body.
First of all, regarding the seaweed that clings to you when you swim in the seas of Japan, I thought I hadn't seen much of it on the coasts of other countries I've been to, so I looked into it and found that its main habitat is East Asia.
Kombu and wakame (one of seaweed name )are dragged by ships and spread, and as an invasive species, they are causing ecological problems along the coasts of various countries (they seem to reproduce quickly).
Also, it seems that East Asians tend to have the enzymes to digest raw seaweed, while other races are prone to stomach problems.
(Wakame sashimi, which is freshly picked, quickly boiled and eaten with ponzu sauce, is the best, but it is dangerous in a way for some people.)
However, if they are processed, that changes, so dried wakame, seaweed, and kombu-dashi have spread all over the world.
In the past 10 years, various types of seaweed have become available at supermarkets in Hong Kong, which is close to Southeast Asia, and the range of cooking at home has expanded greatly.
(I love mozuku soup)
Nori, aonori, wakame, kombu, hijiki, umibudou, mozuku =they are said seaweed
Because it is found in large quantities in East Asia, it is not written in detail and all of them are translated into English as seaweed.
Each one has a completely different taste, texture, and food use, so it's difficult to explain the differences💦
So, what kind of changes will eating these various seaweeds bring to your hair?
